The crew of s/v Grace at anchor in Lake Worth (Palm Beach) FL

Our best wishes to you all for the holidays!

It's hard to believe Christmas is upon us especially when we're wearing shorts and putting on sunscreen instead of mittens. Since we set sail from Maine in July we've logged over 2,200 nautical miles and had many great (and a few not so great) adventures. We've been very fortunate to get to spend time with many good friends and family as we've made our way down the coast. We've visited many great places and seen many amazing sights. We saw the Statue of Liberty, the Washington Monument and the launch of the Space Shuttle all from the deck of Grace. We've seen fully breaching whales. We've seen dolphins and manatees swimming around our dinghy. We've made many new friends from around the world. And we've been fortunate to find safe harbors to weather bad storms and the patience (most of the time) necessary to weather each other in the confines of a 38' boat.

It's a good time to reflect on the countless blessings and good fortune that we are enjoying. But it is also a time to reflect on one of the things we miss most during this adventure -- spending the holidays with family and friends. We are thinking of you all the time and looking forward to the next times we will spend together.

From the crew of s/v Grace we wish you love, peace and joy!

Love,

Megan, Brett, Finn & Teague
